Professional experience

Mario joined the Ramón Hermosilla firm in 2006, becoming part of ONTIER in 2009. He has been a member of RAMÓN HERMOSILLA ABOGADOS since 2015, where he focuses primarily on Commercial and Civil law, providing legal counsel to national and international companies on corporate issues concerning contracts, project finance, refinancing, investment and divestment agreements, stock markets, and operations of various kinds, including: partnerships, acquisitions, joint ventures, collaboration agreements, IPOs, etc. He serves as Secretary on the Boards of several companies.

He routinely advises companies on matters of expansion and internationalisation through the drafting of collaboration agreements with local partners; he reviews and offers counsel on the presentation and awarding of national and international public tenders in collaboration with local firms in those countries where clients are interested in expanding their operations.

In judicial proceedings, he has served as defence in civil, criminal (economic), administrative, and contentious-administrative disputes.

Education

Mario holds a Law degree from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. He completed his academic training by sitting exams to become a Judiciary and Prosecutor and completing the Corporate Legal programme at IE Business School.

Member of the Madrid Bar Association.

He is currently preparing to sit exams to obtain the title of Solicitor in England and Wales through the Qualified Lawyers Transfer Scheme.
