Professional experience

An attorney in the areas of Real Estate Law, Urban Planning, Public Sector Contracts and Administrative Law, Luis joined the Ramón Hermosilla Firm in 2008, after a career in the business field as head and chief legal counsel to several real estate firms and construction companies. He joined ONTIER in 2009 and became a member of RAMÓN HERMOSILLA ABOGADOS in 2015.

His professional experience is focused on providing legal advice to companies, individuals, and public administrations in legal transactions related to the real estate sector, such as purchase and lease agreements for all types of real estate assets, building contracts, property development (direct, cooperative, or communal), and sale & leaseback operations, etc.

His practice also includes advising clients in urban-planning law, specialising in conducting legal due diligence of properties, given his ample experience in management and planning, which includes providing legal counsel or representation to Collaborative Urban-Planning Entities (Compensation Boards, Conservation organisations, etc.).

Education

Luis holds a Law degree from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (1990) and a Master’s in Comprehensive Direction and Management of Real Estate and Construction Companies (2005-2007).

He has completed several post-graduate courses at the Escuela de Práctica Jurídica de Madrid and the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas –ICAI-ICADE, including:

  • Corporate legal advice.
  • Property law.
  • Seminar on the practical aspects of commonhold property.
  • Family and probate law.
  • Banking risk, legal claims and legal defence of the user.

Teaching activity

He collaborates with the Access to Advocacy master’s programme at the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas ICAI-ICADE de Madrid.
