Professional Experience

He joined Ramón Hermosilla Abogados in March 2026 as Head of the White-Collar Crime Department, following more than 30 years of professional experience. In 1995, he began his professional career at the Law Chambers of Professor Miguel Bajo Fernández, where he remained until 2003, the year in which he co-founded ESTUDIO LEGAL FORO DE EUROPA. He served as the Director of the White-Collar Crime Department at said firm until joining Ramón Hermosilla Abogados.

Throughout this period, he has defended and advised numerous corporations, entities, and executives in many of the most significant criminal proceedings in Spain from the mid-1990s to the present (for instance, cases such as Gescartera, Forum, Gürtel, Operación Emperador, Operación Púnica, Operación Lezo, Nummaria, Odebrecht, Mercasa, Hidrocarburos, among many others).

Academic Background

Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICADE) and Master in Legal Practice from the same University.

His education has been furthered through participation in various legal-practical forums and seminars on economic criminal law, criminal procedural law, and compliance.

Member of the Madrid Bar Association (ICAM) since 1994.

Teaching Activity

He has taught courses on Criminal Law at the Escuela Universitaria Cardenal Cisneros. Furthermore, he has conducted legal practice seminars at the Colegio Mayor “Isabel de España” and participated as a speaker in courses related to white-collar crime offered by the Center for Financial Studies (CEF). He has also co-authored the book “Formularios Jurídicos Ceura de Derecho Penal”.

Additionally, he has taught practical classes on criminal law and criminal procedural law within the framework of the Master in International Law organized by ISDE-IEB.
